Mucus plug is not white it's clear almost like snot (sorry) best way to describe it. The white discharge is a normal pregnancy discharge.

I've been losing mine all day today.....it's a mucusy discharge if u wipe u can see it on the toilet paper, some women don't see it because it can also drip into the toilet.  U might not even lose it some don't lose it until they are in active labor so don't worry
