Most pediatricians recommend waiting until after 8 weeks and initial shots because of the amount of germs in a plane.
U can travel with baby at 6 wks. I took my son to South America when he was 8 wks old. it was just fine. He didn't suffer one bit from the pressure on the plane or anything like that. Goodluck!
That is awesome, I never thought of that. Thanks ladies!
When we go up in elevation our ears pop normally we yawn to pop them but in a baby they usually don't so feeding them while take off and landing will help to pop their ears
The sucking motion helps the ears adjust to the pressure.
Kkmom, how does feeding them help adjust their ears?
I flew from Washington state to Tennessee with a one month old and had no problems at all...the only concern I really had was him getting sick being around so many people im a closed space but everything went well...make sure you feed you baby as you take off and land so their ears will adjust otherwise you'll be dealing with a very fussy baby...hope that helps and congrats on your little one
