I have preeclampsia!

I went to my 34wk appt today and my blood pressure was high again and my urine had a high level of protein in it so my dr sent me to labor and delivery to be screened and tests done and they came back that I do have preeclampsia and high BP so they gave me shots to help him develop and grow faster Because I will be having a may baby instead of a june baby now and I did have a mini meltdown because i am scared this is all so overwhelming and new to me i had very smooth pregnancies with my other sons but i just want him healthy and safe.

OK,  listen... I had pre-eclampsia with my first child.  They denied I had it until I forced them to test me.  Turns out I did.  I was 35 weeks pregnant.  Had to stay in the hospital for a few days.  They check your blood pressure every 15 Minutes.  Very annoying.  Mine was bad and they induced me.  I had a natural birth.  Was in labor for 11 hours and had a beautiful baby boy.  He was hypoglycemic but it went away after a day.  You will be okay.  Good luck and don't freak out! Try and relax.  I'm expecting to have it again this pregnancy and relaxing is key.

I had the same thing with my son and actually delivered him at 34 weeks and he came our healthy and happy!
