I know what its like to have a "dead beat" father my oldest 2 boys father was like that and so was my 2 girls dad. My boyfriend is the best and it took being with 2 jerks to see all the good that my boyfriend does for me and my kids. He treats them like they are his own and he caters to me even when I wasn't pregnant. I am so lucky to have him back in my life, we knew each other in high school, and I'm so proud to say that he is mine and I am his.

I must agree its sad reading about unsupportive fathers it's good to finally here that all men are not dead beats. I am also blessed to have a amazing husband that works all day and is willing to come home and to cater to me...I told him yesterday that he is so good to me and I'm lucky to have him!!

I agree. Lucky we have amazing husbands! Mine has treated my oldest son as his own from day one. He was 16 months old when we.got together but we have been friends forever. He actually came to my sons baby shower when I was with my ex lol. He works his butt off so I can stay home with our kids and that from day one was the only thing he wanted me.to.do. he gets up as soon as its.light out goes out to the garden and then goes to work at 730,everyday And works his butt off to.come home to do more.gardening and yard work. Then always makes a point to have dinner with us no.matter how busy he is. My car was small and.I've been saying I wanted.a bigger one w a third kid on the way and a WK and a half ago he came home with a beautiful Tahoe with a 3rd row as a surprise for me! Its the car I've always wanted since.I was 14. Im so lucky I love him so much he.is.my best friend ever!!

Love this post! I feel bad to a point for all these women with "dead beat" babies fathers but at the same time how were they before you chose to have a child with them. My husband is amazing and I couldn't imagine doing this without his support. He has only missed 1 doctors appointment and I'm 39+ weeks now. I'm glad you have an amazing support system too and I hope more women have that too!
