My son called Alexander and we call him Alex. For my all children middle names a picked in advance. I small from Russia originally and over there you have to use fathers name for middle name of the baby. Like my ex husbands name is Mark so my sons middle name is Markovich and my daughters is Markovna.

This are all wonderful. Thanks a bunch.. Zander is cute.. last holdout. That was very cool. Love them detail. I love meaning behind names but have seen so many that just sound like pet names lol. And they names celebs pic are just sad.. my family uses modern names due to being simple.. bit with simple comes a lot of people named the same thing.. I like some of their bible names. I'm just lost lol

I've always been big into meanings. That's why I'm thinking of Zander for mine; it means "protector." What type if name are you going for? Biblical/religious, literary, modern, simple, unique...? And what sort of meanings? Or does the meaning not matter as much? There are a ton of baby name websites you can search.
