water braking

Can your water brake without a gush. I was sitting down after being outside and I didn't feel nothing but liquid running down my leg and a little pool underneath me. I'm not having any pains and baby's still moving. Could this be my water?

Yes , it may be your water. Mine was just like a stream of water. I barely felt it , then came to the hospital 6 hours later my baby boy was here ♡ Good Luck to you ! Keep us updated !

I had a gush but mine was broken in hospital.

Then every contraction it would come rushing out then stop then rush out again etc. :/

Hopefully your little one is here soon :)

My water didn't gush mine started as a trickle and then after about a half hour sitting and then standing it became more faster that's how I knew but it definitely sounds like your water broke and the hospital can test you to be sure...congrats!

My understanding is, its very rarely a dramatic gush like in the movies. More often than not, its a trickle over time. Sounds like your water definitely broke, let your doctor know-you don't want to go much more than 24 hours once your water has broken Because of risk of infection. Shouldn't be long now!

It could have broken. I don't think everyone has a gush. I haven't experienced it yet myself yet it's my first baby. But I did an antenatal class and they said it's not always a gush. I think you should call the doctor/midwife, if it is your water then there is a risk of getting an infection.
