Im currently 35wks5days ans high risk since I found out I was expecting my first bundle of joy!  I have gestational diabetes and although its been tough to stick to a strict diet,  I wouldn't have it any other way.  My baby girl,  Penelope Rae, is healthy amd growing fine. My sugar ia controlled and I managed to stay a fit mommy and not gain anything but baby weight throughout the majority of my pregnancy. Like I said it was tough at first, but all worth it.... 30 daya left! !!! :)

I'm high risk because my little guy has a 2 cord vessel instead of 3 cords. We have known since 17 weeks. I will be seen once a month by my specialist to check the baby's size and to have non stress tests and will be seen more if my little guy is not growing on schedule.

My current pregnancy I baby has iugr due to placenta issues, suspected issues at 20 weeks diagnosed at 24 weeks and put on bed rest. I am 30 weeks tomorrow currently going twice a week for bbp scans with growth scans every three weeks. OB appointments every two weeks, but I speak to her after every bbp scan as well. I will also start nonstress tests next week.

I am high risk because I just got diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. I am 30 weeks and baby is measuring big and I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule! I will be going to the doctor once a week for stress test for the baby and then sonograms most likely every week. Unsure of that right now. But baby is measuring 3lbs 11oz and a little bigger then it should be.

I am high risk because I am overweight and get high blood pressure on birth control with estrogen. Even though my bp is normally 115/65 or lower they dont want to take any risks. I am also at risk for gestational diabetes they said. I was high risk at the first appt at 7 weeks. I got back in two weeks at 12 weeks preggo and if everything is still ok my next appoint wont be for another two months after that. If something is wrong I will get more visits in between appointments.

I'm high risk since 5 weeks due to a genetic disorder which makes my immune system drop in cycles. I'm a first timer so it's been great with all the extra attention, but still I think we may worry a bit more than most.

I am 8 weeks and 3 days. I'm high risk because I had a LEEP procedure several years ago and they had to take A LOT of my cervix so my cervix is very thin. They will have to stitch it up around 17 weeks and could put me on bedrest. I also have had 2 miscarriages in the past year. I go every 2 weeks right now and get an ultrasound every time. I like that I get to see my Dr so often and see the baby, it helps calm my anxiety and fears that something is wrong. My DR's nurse also calls once a week to check in in between appointments.

It is completely understandable to be nervous with being considered high risk. But as I was told by a good friend of mine... all the extra visits and ultrasounds and attention to you and baby is a good thing. Most moms to be get seen once every 4 to 6 weeks. You can now ask anything you want or have the extra reasurance that if something might not look right it will be found all the sooner. I am high risk due to 4 miscarriages with my daughter being the only survivor and she is 8. I also have a past of seizures and blood cloting disorder. I am now 21 weeks and happy to say because the docs have been taking such good care of me that this is the healthiest pregnancy I have had.

I have been high risk since I was 20 weeks. I am 29w5d today. I am high risk because my cervix was opening and I was ready to give birth. I only had had a cm left of my cervix before my baby could come out. I have to have surgery to put stitches in my cervix to keep the baby in my belly as long as possible. This is my first baby. Now if my husband and I decide we want more kids, every pregnancy I have I will have to khan the surgery to put the stitches in and I will always be a high risk pregnancy.  I'm just so happy that we were able to save my baby.

I'm high risk in part to hpv, it's pretty much sure I'll have a c section in case there are any lesions on my cervix.

I'm high risk due to a heart condition. I'm 31 weeks and I see the high risk team at the hospital I don't have one doctor. My first trimester was reg one date scan and prenatal. Second trimester was crazy 3 ultrasound and they started my 2 week visit after 24 weeks. I went to specialist for the baby scan of her heart. Next week I start 2x week monitoring and ultrasound. At times it's overwhelming but I like the treatment.
