Omg! So weird, I'm munching ice right now. I filled up the ice trays at work yesterday afternoon and I was so anxious to munch on it that I was eating it half dozen. They're all good to go today though all I've been going to town on it!! I've always had low iron levels in my blood, thanks for the tip to mention to my doc, she hasn't changed in a while ansd I've been dieing to chew ice for like the last 2wks like crazy

Yes I would ask to get your iron levels checked. It's called pica and is a legit craving and condition. Although it isn't always due to low iron. My mom ate a 10 pound bag of ice a day when she was pregnant with me and both my sisters and I don't think had an iron deficiency. But it's best to ask your dr about it

I was like that EXTREMELY bad with my first! I LOVED ice.. I'd stop to get a drink in the drive thru just for the ice! LOL
I had iron problems though so idk if that's why or not. I had some iron issues with baby #2 as well but didn't eat ice AS often.

I'm on baby #3 and though I don't have an iron issue, I still enjoy the ice in my cup. love, love, love it lol

I would tell your doctor because a lot of times when u crave ice its due to having low iron or being anemic if your irons low enough. I also love ice and my blood work showed i wasnt anemic however i live in texas and its hot to i think its more to due with the heat.
