twin scare

26 weeks and 3 days and im showing so much my friend is poking fun and saying I might have twins but the ultra sound technician said there's one beautiful baby boy in my extremely bloated belly. Could they have missed another baby when I had my ultrasound on the 23 week. So scared more financially than emotionally I have so much love to give but not enough space. Helpp!!

Highly unlikely. They would have detected two heartbeats and definitely would have seen a second child in there. Every woman carries differently. I'm very small for 31 weeks, but that's because she's sitting back further.

its very unlikely! I am only 15 weeks but I look much more and their is only one baby in their! :-) you might have allot of fluid, or if its a 2nd or more pregnancy you do tend to show bigger and earlier than the first time!

It runs in my family....thanks mom!, all 3 of my pregnancies ppl thought i was having twins & not only that since confirmed single by drs they believed my babies were going to be 10lbs +! You can imagine the scare in my face. So far my babies have been 7/6 & 7/15 not even in the 8lb range yet....may my 3rd will be, but all the belly was a lot of amniotic fluid.

I don't think they could miss twins on an ultrasound that far along! I'm 33 weeks with twins and I've had an ultrasound every two weeks since 16 weeks. they were clear as day by 23 weeks!
