Anyone else have/had a cold first trimester?

11 weeks today and woke up with a cold yesterday. Just when I thought I was getting my energy back, I get hit with this. My midwife told me I could take robitussin and tylonol. I'm just sort of paranoid that the cold or the medicine will affect the baby. Anyone else get a cold during their pregnancy?

thats one of the reasons i figured out i was prego. I rarely get sick and usually take echinacea pills year round to boost my immune system and it helps wiht my allergies too. back in december around christmas i got really bad sick. on the 29th i got a positive test

I always get a sinus cold, but there was a 4-week thing going around school this time and I just toughed it out with a humidifier next to my face at night and some tylenol when I was really desperate.

I got colds constently with my first and right after I found out I was prego with #2 I got a cold.. "( its a pregnancy symptom, your nasal passages get inflammed when your pregnant..

Benadryl is safe to. It's really common to catch a bug during pregnancy. Your body is focused on the baby so defenses are down. Hope you feel better :)
