27 weeks and baby isn't very active anymore

Can someone please tell me why a baby can be very active one week and a week later not as active but moves  every now and then?  I called my doctor she stated that it was normal but this has me scared to death since I've already have lost 3 babies.

My OB says a minimum of 10 movements an hour is normal. Less than that, you should go to the hospital and get checked out. But it's true, they do go through spurts of being active and then not as active

It could be the position your baby is in. But I feel better safe than sorry and would go to l and d if you feel very uneasy. I began to notice a change in my lo movements around week 35. But everyone is different.

I had this experience with my first baby. My aunt who worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over 20 years told me drink a cold Coke and lay down or just sit still. I felt my daughter move in less than 10 minutes! Give it a try

I was always told the same thing about it being normal. A lot of people will tell you that baby goes through spurts of being very active and then spurts where they just like to rest and sleep.

I'm currently 38 weeks and have been tokd since 29/30 weeks after being admitted to hospital that if I don't feel baby move a minimum of 3 times an hour to go to the hospital. If you drink something cold and are able to lie down for a little bit that will get baby active for you.
