Insurance Question

This is my third pregnancy, but with my other two I didn't have private insurance, only medicaid. So I didn't have any dr or hospital bills. This time around I have my private insurance but I also have Medicaid. I was under the impression that whatever my private insurance doesn't pay then Medicaid will come in and pay for the rest. When I went to the doctor they said I will still have to pay a "global" but since I have Mediciad it will be cheaper. Not sure what a "global" is but I'm assuming it's like a deductible. Does this sound right to anyone or has anyone ever used both their private insurance and Medicaid??

Contact your case worker for your Medicaid he or she should be able to point you.in the right direction.

I dont have medicaid but i am doing a global & for me i have to pay 163 a month at the doctor for so many months but once i pay the payments my portion of the doctor visits & the delievery fees for the doctor are covered.
