so nervous... need help!

Hi... I had a mc in June and am now about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. I have my first prenatal and ultra sound today. I'm so nervous that they arent going to see anything in the us or say something is wrong. I feel like it is just too good to be true. Should I be this nervous? I don't know how to make myself calm down...

This is a hard thing to deal with.  Be patient with yourself and your partner.  Agree--statistics are in your favor.  MC was the hardest experience of our lives a few years ago.  Our OB doc even cried with us.  We planted a flowering tree that blooms every spring around the time of our loss and coincidentally around the time of our next baby's birth.  Hang in there.  Sounds strange but my marriage became stronger after grieving.

Being pregnant after a mc is terrifying.  Just know that repeat miscarriages are not as common as single incidents.  Take this pregnancy one day at a time.  I understand and I really wish there was something I could say to ease the worry.
