Just a fun question.

I have red hair, my husband has Sandy blonde. We are having a debate on our baby girls hair color. I say red as there are 6 redheads in my family. Not counting my grandfather on my mother's side. He also has red hair on his side as well. Just not as dominant. What do you mommies think?

My husband has dark brown hair and gray eyes. I have dark brown hair and green hazel eyes. Our son has sandy blond hair and blue eyes. It hardly looks like he belongs to us.

I can't wait to see what my baby looks like! I have dark olive skin, brown almost black hair and dark brown eyes. My husband is as pale as they come  with blue/green eyes, and sandy blond hair. I want him to get my skin, my hair and his eyes! That would be a beautiful combo. My cousin and her husband are both brunette and they had a redheaded baby! I guess you never know until they're born

Both myself and my husband have red hair and blue eyes. I wasn't born with red hair though, it was brown then went red, then blonde then back to red. We are hoping for a little redhead. Red hair is awesome, it's nice to be different to the majority.

Don't assume anything... Both of your traits are recessive which means that they could mix just as easily as one could take over, but one of you could also have a brunette gene somewhere along your lines and it could be from way back that will show through and you end up having a dark hair baby!! This is less likely, but it's definitely possible....it's not just 2 genes that produce hair color, it's multiple genes from him and multiple from you, and then with those genes comes things that are kinda like on/off switches, so if you have a dark haired gene that was turned off in one of you that he has a on switch for it will turn on the dark gene and basically over rule the lighter ones, or Mix with them at least....it's extremely complicated to figure out what your baby will look like unless you both had absolutely nothing but fair skin, light blue eyes, and bright blonde (basically white) hair in both of your families dating back hundreds of years!!! It's like playing the lottery, good luck!!

Maybe you'll get a strawberry blonde!I know we're getting a brunette, my hubbie has brown skin, eyes and black hair. I have fair skin brown hair and eyes. So we know in theory what colouring we're getting. We're hoping they get my eyes and his lungs- I have asthma and his vision is shocking. Gl.

It all depends on the dominant gene.
