Labor stories

I know no one will answer this because no one ever does but I'd like to hear several stories about moms who were terrified about giving birth but did it and surprised themselves by doing so. My time is here and I'm doing everything to try and keep a good mind set! Thank you

I was induced at 41+3 with my first. They put the gel in at 8 am contractions started at about 11 am and then had bub at 530 pm. Was a very easy labour concidering I had heard so many horror stories about being.induced. I didn't.need to be cut and had no tearing. He was 8 pound 6 everyone was pretty amazed that he came out so easy concidering I have pretty little hips. I'm currently 39+4 and am.sitting on a fit ball getting.contractions about 10 12 mins apart. So ill let you know what happens this time lol

Mine wasn't a natural like the ones above, but not to bad... At 4 months I told my doctor I was going to have a c section but he did not believe me. So tone went by, and had an apt on my due date (Dec 8) but still no baby, in fact I wasn't dilated and he still hadn't dropped... So I had to go to the hospital the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and on the 14th I was dilated to .5cm do they could induce me... So on the 15th I went in at 730 am and they put me on platosen, at 10 am they broke my water.. NOTHING,  finally some time around  530pm I said "ooo that kind of hurt" I was only at 1.5cm and they gave me pain meds. I slept finally around 1 something in the morning on the 16th a nurse came in and had me drink this nasty anti nausea drink stuff, witch worked the opposite. And told me I was having a c section...  135 in the morning my prince was born at 6'14" 19 and 3/4 in... So now I'm setting a date for another one with this baby 2 weeks-ish before Halloween...

So my water broke two weeks early when we were bowling with some friends lol. No contractions, nothing so next day midwife jad me go to hospital and be induved, ended up on pitosin...Pain was definitely tough cause i couldnt move around but id made it out to be so much worse in my head that it was always manageable. Long story short even with pitosin my body wouldnt relax enough to dilate so midwife had me get an epidural, onr hr. later id gone frm 3 to 10cm, pushed for a couple hrs anf had a 8 lb 6 oz 19.75" boy :) really wasnt as terrible as i thought it would be, and end result was amazing! Hoping my body will know what to do this go round, i really want a water birth. For me recovery and getting back to my old self was worse than labor lol.
