The Waiting Game

For 275 days I have been fine waiting for "the day" to arrive. Now that i have five days left and "a scare" yesterday where we went to l&d at 1:30am having contractions every three minute just to come home becbecause I'm not dialating really hurts. So now I'll i can do is wait, wait, wait. There isn't even anything that will help me dilate even if I'm having contractions. Im scared to have another csection even though it's been six years since my csection i feel it's the same thing happening because i can't dilate and son my child will be at a high risk and they'll force me to have one by saying I'm putting my child's life at risk. If i have to i have to but I'm praying i won't. Anyway, i've been fine waiting the last 275 days and now i just want my baby in my arms.

Im 50% effaced early yesterday but didn't dilate. I actually didn't go to my doctor appointment today because i was so devastated about yesterdays event. I know he will only talk about inducing or setting up a csection if i go past this Saturday... and my contractions are under my tummy, it's the tightening of your cervix. Praying she comes soon and natural. Good luck to you ladies too!

I had the same thing happen last Monday.  I was sent home and was so active all week and nothing.  Then I got the contractions again this weekend all weekends 3-4 minutes apart but I didnt go in bc thry said I wasnt in enough pain last time.  So we walked everywhere took kids to the pool for 2 hours, did everything we could think of.  Woke up this morning and my contractions were gone.  I have 3 days til my due date and 2 weeks til my csection if I dont go into labor by then since I have 2 previous csections.  It is horrible trying to wait it out knowing unlike others you face certain csection, no medicine intervention like pitocin :-/.  We got this tho.  Just keep active and know that when you have these contractions it means that baby is getting ready.  I was 1 cm and 50% effaced last Monday.  Hoping allthe contractions this weekend means I have advanced closer to her being rdy.

Im 2 days passed my due date sorry to ask a question on your question but i dont know what's going on .. tonight I have had really intense pains in my lady area lasted over an hour about every 3 minutes is this contractions .. do u get them in your area or your tummy ?? Sorry ftm .. I feel clueless

Once you start feeling contractions again walk walk walk walk! I had the same problem the nurse at the hospital looked at me and told me to get up n do laps around the maternity ward.... as soon as I did that BAM made progress.

I know how u feel I went in on friday with contractions 4 min apart and nothing. I am 2 1/2 centimeters and 50% lost my mucus plug earlier today. Idk but I feel like she's not coming soon "( but u will do fine im sure when it really hits ur gonna dialated. Are u dialated at all???
