Light brown discharge

Hi all!

I have a quick question I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and this is my first time so I'm not totally sure what's normal etc. Just yesterday I noticed that when I wiped after going to the bathroom I have some creamy light brown discharge. I'm not spotting and no pain or anything like that. Is this OK? Normal?
I've had some today as well. Small amounts only.
I have my first appointment with the midwife on Thursday or should I call sooner to have this checked?
Thanks in advance! X

Really? I'm so confused cos I've looked it up and most people say it's fine etc. Some say to get checked out. Should I be worried?

Light Brown discharge is usually old blood. I had some when I was about 14wks and asked my obgyn and she said it was okay. As long as it doesn't continue, or turn into bright red, and you have no cramps. I would wait till my appt. But if worries you to much just call and ask they tell you if you need to come in. Am 22wks and doing great:-) best wishes. Hope is all good:-)

Ok thanks. I might just call tomorrow if I still have some and see what they say. I'm trying not to think about it to much and just see what happens. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it. X
