So after 9yrs of waiting to concieve a scare at 6wks and being overjoyed at getting to 12wk and 3days i had some brown discharge yesterday and some light cramping i woke this morning with a bellyache and headache i rang my midwife who told me to go to epu to get myself checkd out.... i had a ultrasound and my beautiful babys heart had stopped beating a week ago :( me and my partner are so devastated life is so cruel. I was due to go for my12wk dating scan wednesday but now ill be going in for a operation to have my baby removed. Words jus cant describe how i feel i guess it just wasnt my turn yet, if you have brown/pink discharge or are worried about the smallest thing always ring your midwife and ask your question dont wait cos i was going to leave it no question is a silly question.

I recommend letting the baby pass on its own. A d&c may cause permanent scarring if you plan on conceiving again. So sorry for your loss. Try eating foods rich in iron when the procedure comes around so you dont feel so weak. I lost one in sept at 9 wks during my 10 wk ultrasound. It hit me like a pike of bricks and i wanted to punch the tech in the face. The worst part is that my mother didnt even seem to care. Have those you love by your side. You have my deepest condolences.
