Low fluid

I'm 36 weeks today and Friday i had an ultrasound and they sent me to L & D to see if my water was leaking because my fluid was low at a 4. Water wasn't leaking so they are going to repeat the ultrasound this Friday and if it's still low they are going to induce. Has anyone been through this? Also, what cause fluid to be low if I wasn't leaking?

I currently have a friend that has low fluid and they will be inducing her,  but she's also studying to b rn so she said that she had to drink extra fluids to help make baby produce aswell... didn't really ask her how it worked,  but hope all goes well for you and maybe try drinking extra fluids by Friday see if it makes a difference. . Good luck
