Measuring over

So I'm 32 weeks and will be 33 weeks tomorrow but when I went to my doctors appointment Monday I was measuring 38 weeks. Can somebody tell me what does this mean and they say my health is good so I'm confused.

My sister was 8 weeks over starting her 6th month and they told her that the baby might be just bigger than normal, almost at the end of her pregnancy they did an ultrasound to measure him and he was 11lbs... So they decided to do a C- section. When baby is too big his head or shoulders can get stuck. I would ask for an ultrasound to measure the baby before your due date.

It doesn't necessairly mean anything. I measured 4 weeks ahead from 30 weeks on. I delievered on my due date and my baby was not super large.

Sometimes our counting is not accurate or there's too . So maybe just get ready just in case your baby is ready to come out

Sometimes late in pregnancy the measurements estimate you are farther along because your child is larger than the statical average. If you had measurements taken early on that were confirmed around the 17-20 week marks (confirmation of due date, etc.) rest easy and know you have a healthy and robust baby coming soon enough.
