prayers please!!
I didn't get the best news at the drs yesterday. I have to be on bed rest till the end because my cervix is basically nothing. He days he's not sure if I will carry the baby to full term. If I can hold my lil guy in till I'm 30 weeks minimum then he will have a 75% Chance of living. So please send prayers please. I am 18 weeks this Saturday.
I have already began praying for you and your family. Keep the faith. I am a very positive person and I will only speak positivity into the atmosphere. You will bring healthy life into this world!!!! Hang in there little man!! Meanwhile, try not to stress mom and get as much rest as possible!
I know what you are going through. With my first pregnancy I found out around 18 to 19 weeks that my cervix might be shrinking. Went in a few more times in 2 or so weeks to make sure the tech didn't get it wrong and to see if it was still shrinking. At about 22 weeks my doc told me to start taking it easy and to rest more. (but couldn't since I was getting married in 2 weeks) When I came back around 25 weeks I was put on bed rest and had to start taking progesterone vaginally. Doc told me my goal was to make it to 32 weeks. I ended up getting off progesterone at 32 weeks and didn't go into labor at 37 weeks and a day.
It is very scary especially if it's your first baby but if you take care of your self and don't stress out things will be ok.

I had a very short cervix at 25 weeks and had a full term baby despite the odds. Your baby will be fine. Just pray and keep strong.

They should do a cerclage I had mine done at 24 weeks with this pregnancy.
