Mucus plug

I've been having this discharge the past couple of days. Its cream like I'm texter it's think and its very light green/yellowish I'm color. I've heard that your mucus plug is snot looking and think and stringy like snot as well and sometimes can be mixed with blood or have a small brownish color to it. Some lady's say theirs were greenish yellow but no one says theirs were cream like it's always stringy snot like so just wondering is this just a discharge or possibly my mucus plug? Two dr visits ago I had my bactrial and hiv testing done and both where negative so it shouldn't be an infection. No odor or itching or pain at all.

How far along are you?  There are things you can attempt to trigger labor.  Sex being a good one.  Certain teas you can drink but none of the ideas are a guaranteed way to start.  Everyone is different and recommends different things.  Your Dr can do a cervical sweep to help start but baby won't come until baby's ready.  I ended up being induced with both of my pregnancies.

I'm 38 weeks. I'm due for my c section on the 31st of this month. My last pregnancy I went into labor at 38 weeks so i was hoping i would also this time. I'm high risk for premature labor so I take a shot every week to prevent that from happening. I had my last shot at 36 weeks and it didnt take my daughter but 3 days after the shot wore off to come but it doesnt seem to be the case with this one.

Even if you lose your plug, it can grow back. But sounds to me that it's just discharge,  as long as there is no odor it's normal

Increased discharge is totally normal.  And it being thick and creamy is also fine.  For me, I've lost parts of my mucus plug several times, and yes it's just like snot.  There's a tint to it?  That's ok too and normal.  I would say it sounds more like discharge rather than plug.

Yea.  It's hard to gauge pregnancies off of previous pregnancies, because theyre all different.  At 38 weeks I too was trying everything I could to get my labor going, but no success.  I hope you can figure out what works for you :-)
