bad cold

I am 10 w 5 d and I have a terrible cold and store throat.  I took robotossin because that was on my doctors list of things I could take. Now I'm a little worried because I am still in my first trimester. Has anyone else taken any medicine because of cold flu like symptoms in first trimester? Was that ok?

I'm stubborn and don't take meds unless I feel like I'm gonna die! Lol drives my husband nuts! I try and get lots of sleep and drink lots and lots of water. I took vitiman c drops. If the Dr told you its fine then that's ok. Just get some rest! If it makes you uncomfortable take 1/2 the amount? I had a kiler headache and broke down and took one Tylenol.

ive been sick a few times during my past pregnancies. the doctor and pharmacy told me I could not take anything other then Tylenol and cough drops. but if your doc said its ok. then you should trust your doc. good luck and feel better soon.
