My baby girl is here!!
Born November 20, 2014 8lbs 3oz! Went in on Tuesday November 18th to be induced. They used a pill to try to soften my cervix but wasn't working very well because by the next day I was only 1cm and still only 50% effaced. Had contractions all day and they gave me a different medicine to help me soften. By 6pm I was 4 cm and contractions were consistent so got an epidural since I was in pain and had not slept in 24 hrs. Was able to sleep that night and woke up at 6am dilated to 10 but she still hadn't dropped enough. I was so scared because I was looking at a possible c section. My nurse and I prayed and I rested for 2 hrs. Then the nurse had me do a practice push and she said baby was coming and had to call the Dr. To come right away. I pushed about 2 times and she was here. Perfect and beautiful Amaya Elizabeth
