I just burnt my stomach so bad. I was making noodles for my son, and the water Splashed on me. When I lifted my shirt up my skin came off with it!

I burned my stomach at 30 weeks! A steam burn right and it blistered pretty bad! It was right where my babies head was at, I ran cold water over it and things felt fine! The baby is protected inside but of still check with the dr.

No butter or creams as they don't allow the heat to escape. Run cold water over it for 20 mins and it will help. Butter can also contain bacteria that you wouldn't want causing an infection. First thing we learned in first aid class is that nothing should be put on a burn unless approved by a doc.
