Idk why it put stars but its misleading lol it says "it makes me go..."
None of what these ladies are suggesting helped me. :( I take target brand of metamucil. 5 tablets 2x a day although you can take them 5 tablets up to 3x a day.*** makes me go but it does not soften my stool so it's still painful as I have hemroids. I can't wait for the pregnancy to be over just bc I can't poop right. :(
All bran ceriel, a large juice of orange juice (not from concentrate) and dried apricots for breakfast. It always works with me.
Actually I agree with the prenatal pills too - mine had 150% of iron in them as iron is very constipating so I found a regular vitamin that has 50% of iron and I supplement with a separate folic acid pill and get the rest of my iron from food. My doctor told me prenatals aren't really any different from regular vitamins they just have higher %s but anything over 100% isn't used by the body anyway. She said as long as you get folic acid that a regular is fine. Once I stopped taking all that iron it helped me soooooooo much to go to the bathroom!
Try changing your prenatal pills, I got cvs brand & they make me go three times a dat :)
Lots of water, orange juice, when I got desperate I drank a small amount of coffee with sugar. I also changed prenatal pill to citra natal it made a difference .. hope u feel btr
I started having problems early around 10 weeks. I started taking fiber gummies and stool softeners every morning with my pre natal vitamins and I have been alot better since.
I had this problem as well, I eat a fiber bar and drinka glass of apple juice every morning. Sometimes I will even eat a fiber bar for an afternoon snack. I was surprised how good they actually are! Bran cerial works good to! Good luck!
Dissolve fiber in drinks. Equate walmart version cheapest, no taste
Colace, fiber (fiberone bars are good), eat an apple or drink apple juice daily. Stay hydrated lots and lots of water.
Fiber, water, fruit, prune juice and exercise :)
A little coffee, yogurt, or ice cream helps me.
Fiber! Prunes, bran, leafy greens... Eat fiber cereal for breakfast and try to get some roughage in your diet. When it gets really bad, I drink a little prune juice, but that can sometimes give me the opposite problem. I've been doing much better overall though by consciously including fiber in my diet.
