NEED ADVICE AM i LOSING MY BABY????

Ok So this is me and my husband’s 2nd pregnancy, but we had our first 10 years ago , and have been trying with no luck for the last eight years, so you can imagine how elated we were to find out we are pregnant.  We have only tried naturally so no fertility drugs or help. So here is the story. On 2-7-14 I went to the ER with severe lower back pain ( I thought it was a kidney infection) Well after blood work and urine testing the doctor came in and said my blood test said I was PREGNANT. At that moment you could have knocked me over with a feather I was in shock, disbelief, and confused, because  I had also started a period on 2-1-14 thru 2-6-14 , so basically my period stopped the day before , So how could I be pregnant “ I thought”. He proceeded to tell me that he was going to test the blood again to get my HCG levels and order an ultrasound. My HCG was at 61 then the ultrasound regular and transvaginal showed nothing at all. He said by my numbers and the fact that nothing showed up on my ultrasound I was only a few days pregnant, but to follow up with my OB on Monday and have her redo blood work to make sure the HCG numbers were going up. So on 2-11-14 I saw my OB she did urine and it came up positive and blood work, it was also time for my yearly so she did a pap smear as well. Because the urine test came up positive she said I had to be further along and my new HCG# was 347, she said it was a viable pregnancy and wanted to go off the last period before 2-1-14 which was 12-28-14 so she said I was about 6 weeks and my due date would be 10-5-14. That left me a bit confused since 3 days before the ER doc said I was only a few days, anyway she said just to be safe she would report the blood work in 2 days, so yesterday I started spotting I wouldn’t even call it spotting I just had dark brown on the tissue when I wiped, She said no worries it’s just old blood. I went in today 2-13-14 for another blood test, and the nurse just called and said my new HCG # was 235, and the doctor want me to come back in on Monday to test again, So I asked what does this mean am I having a miscarriage, she said so blunt probably WTF that was it then she said see you Monday. I’m so scared now!!!!!!!! And I have to hurry up and wait till Monday!!!!!!! I am having no symptoms of a miscarriage. The only this I have is a tiny bit of dark brown when I wipe, it’s not even enough spotting to show on my panty liner, so to break it down
2-6-14 was the end of a almost inexistent period
2-7-14 in the ER HCG# was 61 and nothing on ultrasound
2-11-14 OB office HCG# 347 and positive urinalysis
2-13-14 OB office HCG# 235, and said probably a miscarriage, and I have to go back 2-17-14 to recheck HCG levels, and the only symptom I have is brown when I wipe, but since2-14-14 my spotting stopped all together. I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms though, so has anyone ever had their numbers drop and come back up. I just need advice, hope, something to help me understand what’s happening to me and my baby!!!! Please any and all feedback even if it’s bad would be severely appreciated!!!!  Pray for me and my baby

I agree with pris above. They might have show that ur levels were rising because u were producing them but if they r dropping now that more time has passed it's probably not a good sign. Sorry to say.

You could be having a chemical pregnancy where the sperm reaches the egg but does nothing everything will show your pregnant for a few weeks till u our levels go back down. It happened to me before this current pregnancy

I'm really sorry you're going thru this but I honestly think that is what is happening. At 7 weeks I started light bleeding and then cramped in the middle of the night. I went to the er and they couldn't find the baby anywhere. Over the next week my levels were going up but not doubling daily like they should have been, I was loosing my baby. Normal levels are at 5 & yours dont seem high enough to be 6 weeks. I'm so sorry.

Did you ever start bleeding or did they have to to a procedure? I am so sorry that happened to you.

That happened to me in October, at 7wks I started cramping alittle bit and had brown discharge when wiped. I called Dr they told me to go to the ER just to be sure. I went to ER they did ultrasound and took blood and said everything looks fine follow up with your Dr in a week. So at 8wks went to Dr she didn't do anything really just talked about everything and said she reviewed everything and it all looks good. No exam no ultrasound. Dr scheduled me for my 12 wk ultrasound, my husband and I were so excited tokd family at
10wks. Went to ultrasound only to find no heart beat and they said the baby stopped growing at 8
wks!!! Most devastating moment for my husband and I. They called it a missed miscarriage, so really is your concerned I would go to ER, I hope everything works out for you. I'm sorry I doubt have a positive story did you .
