New to this site :)

My question is about sleep. For the past week I have been up all night and most of the day. I have only been sleeping maybe 3 hours a day. Is there anything besides tea that will help?

I am 30+2 and so far ive had no problems sleeping but I think its because I move alot at work and when im off from work I dont stop....im always doing something...and even though im on my feet all the time I dont have swelling....I love sleeping in a cold room....if its hot I just cant do it lol

my OB mentioned sleep hygiene at our appt today. she suggested to avoid watching tv, movies, that stimulates the mind. instead, you can read a book, have a glass of warm milk, and ensure the room is quiet and dim. also, avoid napping during the day, if its possible so that you can have full REM at bedtime. i'm in my final weeks of pregnancy and the past couple of days, i nap at least twice a day so now i'm going to reduce back to one nap which is during the day. good luck. let me know if it works.

You can try some meditation and relaxation techniques. They may sound silly, but they do work. I'm almost 36 weeks and had a lot of insomnia until I tried the relaxation techniques.

How far along are you? Most doctors (mine included) say it's ok to take unisom, but since I don't know about your medical history I would say check with your doctor first :)
