getting induced 39 weeks

Will most drs induce 39 weeks if u want  and u have healthy pregnancy? Easy to get a bed too?heard it's based on if beds are available.

Yes Some docs/midwives will do it. I am 34w and I am planning on getting membrane stripped 38/39 weeks. I have heard it works for some people within 2 to 3 day period and others it did not so the baby is still born when is ready. I don't know about the bed stuff, lol

Yes some dr.s will if you ask. My dr does if your 39 weeks

Yes what maw4389 said, they wait till your past due specially if you have had a good pregnancy no need to rush the baby out

It depends on your doctor. Where I'm from, doctors won't induce you because you're impatient. They won't do it til you're overdue or have a good medical reason. Induction increases your chances of having a c section because your body is being forced to do something it's not ready to do on it's own, which sometimes results in failure to progress.
