being left alone too long?

So you would think hospital is best place to be right?! Wrong the midwives made me wait an extra hour overdue my meds n I was screaming in pain :'( not sure what I can do any advice?? Im right next to their office n you can see them chatting away even when im crying or screaming out in pain for them!!

Definitely call and file a complaint, that is ridiculous. You should have gotten the paperwork during admittance. I was admitted twice thru the er and had my paperwork before I was moved to my room. I can not believe they are right there and aren't helping at all! I'm so sorry your having to deal with that. I pray things get better and soon!

Make sure also to report that you have not been given the patient rights and responsible paper work

Ok then call the hospital from your phone when the operator answers ask for the hospitals administration office

You can use the phone and call the administrator to file the complaint they should have given you the administration number in the paper work for your admission it should be in the patient rights paper work

How do you do that? Can you do it online because I can't move further than my room x

Can you complain to the head nurse? I had a fever overnight when I was admitted with preterm labour and the nurses wouldn't do anything, told me to try to sleep. My ob was not impressed the next day.
