I guess there's an old superstitious saying that its bad luck if you turn on ur baby swing or mobile before the baby comes. I was moving the swing because the roof was leaking and landlord was coming to fix it and accidently turned it on. My baby's dad started freakin out saying it was bad luck. I looked at him like he was on drugs. I don't believe in luck or superstitions I believe everything happens for a reason, whats meant to be will be. I don't believe something will happen to my baby because i accidently turned on a swing.

Well im not superstitious i have owned black cats, stepped on cracks, walked under ladders, opened umbrellas in the house, broke mirrors. blah blah blah. And Brantley seems fine hes moving around as I'm typing this. I guess my BD aunt got pregnant and went out and bought all kinds of baby stuff then miscarried and hes all freaked out. It was an early miscarriage i am 28 weeks and dr says baby and me are healthy so i'm not going to worry about it. somethings not all of a sudden going to happen because i accidently turned on a swing.

I've never heard that one before!  Funny how everyone has their own set of different superstitions. I'm sure baby is fine. :)

Lol I've never heard that either, I have a dog that's not quite a year old yet and part of getting him ready for the baby is turning the swing and things on so he can start getting used to them now :)

Lol that's a new one on me. Maybe that's why my two oldest are wild child's haha. I used to love to play with them before they were born and just imagine them in it :) tell hubby to rest assure that baby will be just fine :)
