Pain on the right side? almost 7 weeks. Advice?

Question

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I had experienced round ligament pain with my other 2 but this is different somehow. It seems to be more on one side. It gets more intense when I get up, Cough,sneeze and a couple times when I yelled to my kids upstairs it started up. I have had a small bit of spotting but more lile tinged discharge. (Please forgive the TMI) its just concerning because I didn't have anything like that with either of my kids pregnancies.  My first prenatal appt is on the 20th. I know there isn't much they could do for me at this point if I call to come in sooner. 

Ive been under a lot of stress lately. We just moved. Money is tight.  My cat is terminally ill. My 4yr old has picked now to go through a difficult phase. Lol sorry for the novel. Ive been tearing my hair out and im afraid its going to affect my pregnancy. 

Has anyone experienced what I described? What was it?

I dnt wnt to scare you but get checked for an ectopic pregnancy , I had one last year but the pain was intense at times like childbirth but on one side so its probaly not but just to b on the safe side , hope all is well and its nothing sinister

which side is it on cos i was getting pain on my left side and was worried about eptopic. My midwife told my trapped gas usually goes on ur left side. Thats what it could be x

I had pain like u describe at 6 weeks preg lasted a few weeks then found out it was my appendix. I needed surgery. I had gone to doc when i first started Getting pain they did ultrasound but it wasn't inflamed enough to see then the pain just got worse by the 3rd doc visit they could see it on the ultrasound.

I ended up hving emergency surgury at 9 weeks it didnt shiw up on any scans

I didn't. And no reason to be scared yet. My rule has always been no fears till I have to. ;) If it's a kidney infection, antibiotics are totally safe. And the previa can be managed. Or...on the flip side... it could be nothing. Hope all is OK. Keep us posted. :)

I also had this with the beginning of this pregnancy. It turned out I had a bad kidney infection at the time. I also had placenta previa. So the dr figured that the previa caused the spotting and the infection caused the pain. Either way, you may want to call and be seen. Just to be sure what is going on.
