shivering movements of the baby

I'm currently 31 weeks. Since last two weeks I'm feeling the baby's movements like it's shivering or vibrating and those movements last just for a couple seconds. There is no specific time to such movements. Has anyone else has such an experience? Should I be worried and see my doctor?

I've had those too! It almost kind of feels like when your eyelid flutters or your bum cheeks twitch, but its the baby! (please tell me I'm not the only one whose bum cheeks twitch from time to time)
Anyway, yeah, my baby flutters too.

Definitely hiccups. I thought seizure right away too. But the more ive read and researched its hiccups. Now i think they are cute rather than scary. :)

My daughter did that heaps during my last pregnancy. Very different to hiccups as it's much faster (she had hiccups plenty of times too). I used to call her Thumper as it felt like really quick kicking. This baby has done it once so far. I think it's just really quick movements, maybe they're just trying out their limbs and experimenting!

It's probably hiccups but I would check with your OB to be sure.

I asked my obgyn. She didn't know what that could be. She told me other women have reported that, and that their babies are born healthy.  I know its not hiccups, because mt baby has them all the time and those are funny/cute and very distinctive. Anyway,  she said not to worry about it.

I had them with my son as well. I'm not sure what causes it, but he's a healthy 19 month old boy now.
