Pediatricians

FTM due June 13th and trying to find a pediatrician. How did you mommies go about finding a doctor you liked? I don't want to have to take my baby to several doctors just to find out I don't like them. I'd like to find one I like before baby comes :/

With my first we had no idea and just used the ped at the hospital and then continued with the same practice.  We deliver out of state for a better hospital so we still use the on-call ped at the hospital but we use the pediatrician at our family practice afterward.  We chose one of there pediatricians based on recommendations from friends and then met her ourselves.

I happen to work for a pediatrician so it made my decision easy. Our practice does "new parent tours" every couple weeks so parents can come in, ask questions, and meet some of the docs before baby comes. Call around and see if any practices near you do the same.
