Cramps and sharp pains.

Okay. 38w on Friday. Baby is moving normally and I've lost my mucus plug on Sunday. Dilated to 3cm.

What I have going on is cramping in my back and lower abdomen. I'm also having sharp pains all throughout my abdomen. And pain under my boobs, it hurts when I take a deep breath. I called my doctor and they said its all growing pains because I can't get a time on it.

Anyone else experienced this? I'm a FTM and getting frustrated because something just doesn't seem right with my body and I just get told, "take Tylenol and lay on your left side."

I'd like to know what the heck is going on and what it means. I'm not taking anymore Tylenol because its not a solution to everything.

Still sitting a 3cm with braxton hicks. Scheduled to be induced on the 26th. Hopefully I can get things moving along before then. But so far none of the natural remedies are working for me. :/

Any updates??? Ice been 1cm since Xmas Eve not been checked since and lost my mucus plug two days ago.

Thank you ladies for your advice. I went to the hospital last night. They monitored me all night. But sent me home because my contractions were 15 minutes apart with no signs of getting closer and I wasn't progressing in dilation. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow (Friday) so we'll how everything goes.

go to the HOS get checked... I wouldn't be surprised if you were in labor right now and didn't know it because honestly your first time moms and it feels different you could be having back labor they don't know go get checked it wouldn't be surprised if you have your baby tomorrow or tonight

I would go to the l&d because when I had my first I didn't know about the whole poop thing and was actually trying to poop in the restroom and then something clicked in my head and I was like Uhm I need to go to the hospital now. I had already been up there three times that week. When I went up there and I was dilated at an 8. I realized that I almost had my baby at the house. I was in the hospital for about 30 minutes before pushing.

I would be adamant that you want to be checked. Lots of women who are in labor have more of a consistent pain rather than timed contractions.  I would definitely call back or just go there and demand to be seen.

If you wait until you feel like you have to poop the baby could be coming it's best if you go to the hospital and get checked especially if you are 3 cm dilated an lost your plug

Sounds like your body is getting ready but yes it will feel like you have to poop and that's how u know it's active labour

I actually don't. I've had pretty normal BM these past couple of days.

Do you feel like you have to poop but cant? I had that kind of pain with my first son but I get like I had to poop but couldn't and they told me I was in labor.
