Now I realize what I just said could be scary. I didn't mean to share my experience to make you upset. It was more to show you that other people have been in your situation and it has turned our just fine.

My daughter had an irregular heartbeat when I went to the hospital for early labour. I ended up bring induced because of it as I was 39+5 and it was the first time it was detected. I kept being told nit to worry and that it would clear itself up. And that is exactly what it did. When she was born the irregularity went away. As she was monitored in the nicu they heard a heart murmur and had to have an echo done. Turns out she has a small hole in the top of her heart that apparently 25% of the population has. It will either close over or just be something we have to worry about. She is not 8 days old and healthy :)

What did it slow down to? If your dr isn't worried it may just be a mumur or irregularity. Are they referring you to a pediatric cardiologist? Sorry this is scary for you but I am sure if there was something to worry about your dr would be concerned.
