38 weeks

I just saw my midwife.  My blood pressure has always been perfect.  It was high today.  I didn't ask what it was.  My urine had no protein in it.  They are having me collect my urine for 24 hours, and then I have to go get my bp checked again on Wednesday.  I'm not ready too worried, I'm thinking it was just a fluke, but who knows.  Anyone else had this issue?

I'm 50% effaced. She could get completely through my cervix.

It's not pre eclampsia, proteins have to be present in the urine for that.

They are monitoring you for pre eclampsia. How many weeks are you? Pre eclampsia usually develops in the 2nd to 3rd trimester. It's a blood pressure issue that can have severe side effects if not treated and monitored closely. It's specificto pregnancy and usually goes away once baby is delivered

I just went through this and my blood pressure has been normal ever since. I feel stress and nerves played a huge factor for my elevated blood pressure.
