Stomach issues

I've often heard that constipation is a big symptom of pregnancy but has any one had the opposite symptom? I'm almost 10 weeks pregnant and have been dealing with watery stools for at least 4 weeks. I switched prenatal vitamins and that helped (who knew they had stool softeners?!) but now the loose stools has just turned to diarrhea. I haven't noticed any specific food triggers and just want to know if this is normal. I have a Dr's appointment tomorrow and will be discussing with Dr for sure.

I wish that was my problem. I have been on the Zofran pump for 4 months to stop my nausea and vomiting and Robinul for 2 months to stop my consistent spitting. Both cause severe constipation! At my longest, I went 2 weeks with no bowel movement and had to go to the hospital. The constipation was so bad I could not sit down. Now I have to give myself an enema every 3 days so I wish my stool was loose or runny! LOL!

I had loose to normal stools in the early months too. But once I hit 3rd trimester I got a little constipated here and there. Like Nikki said drink tons of water if your loose or backed up.

I am in the same boat as you I'm 6weeks+5 and I know mine could be from not drinking enough fluids. Make sure you are drinking a ton more then usual its so easy to get dehydrated while pregnant.
Hope u feel better soon <3
