maybe you older women can help
I'm 30 years old and 30 weeks along. I have 2 boys ages 11 and 6. Hubby took them camping for the night and I just realized I have no friends. I mean none. Now I wonder if its me. Both boys do sports and I never seem to fit in w the other moms. I hear them talk about last weekend and what they did together. I'm never invited. I'm a military wife and don't fit in there either. Most if them cheat on their spouses so I distance myself. But I don't w other ppl. I ask if they want to do Starbucks then hit up target or just get the kids together and its always excuses or just no call???
I cried reading this. I have 3 kids and am pregnant with my fourth... though I have no experience with a hubby in the service I too have no friends..no life.. anything really. I get excited to go grocery shopping with one child - we call it our date time. Who else turns the shower water off a few times to yell for a head count? I have no friends. Best friend was mom and she passed leaving me a brother to care for. Hubby got me a starbucks gift card for xmas.. no joke the card said, "Go make a friend." I've never cried so much tho his intentions were amazing. I wouldn't change **** about it tho... but sometimes I miss having a friend... not even to vent.. but to grab a mocha frappe with. I so feel this!!
Well I'm not a good girl lol. I'm just not a hussie. And I find both extremes but non as balanced as me. Found a few women but they have kids and seem to be as busy as me. Work, school and kids.
Im sorry you're having trouble with finding someone with the same morals as you do to.spend time with :/ i couldn't hang out with someone who cheats on their spouse either cuz then people think you're the same way :( im practically the definition of good girl and everyone here seems to be different than me so i dont have friends either i live over by houston but roam all over tx lol if you like send me a message
Thirdtime that how i feel. When u have my baby girl both my other children will be in school all day and my husband will be clearing from post. That can take awhile sometimes months. But then our army life will be done and maybe normal will be back
I know how you feel about being a bit lonely, i feel my social life has dropped to zero since getting pregnant. It seems nobody wants to get together anymore since i can't drink! My best friends and I used to get together all the time for a few wines, but now thats all over. I really hope that i don't feel too lonely when my boy is born, as i'm an older mum, 37, and all my friends have kids who are in school, and they work too. Its horrible feeling so isolated.
Thanx chick! I could use a few women to talk to! Only 10 more weeks I know! So nerve racking. I swear I was 12 weeks yesterday lol.

Im sure its very hard. And im very thankful for your husbands service. If you ever need a friend im always here. my husband works alot hes a sales arborist. So hes always on call. It would be nice to have a friend to talk too:) im 12 weeks pregnant right now. How far along are you?
Ya my hubby is an E6 ssgt. He is a tanker so all combat tours and in some if the worst areas. It's hard when ppl are so proud if you and yet he isn't proud if himself. I try not to bother him w my little aches and pains cause I know he has it so much harder than me. But its hard cause I have no one to talk with. He has enough in his mind he shouldnt have to worry about me too. He signed up after we got married for our family and now he feels like it gas ruined our family. I see both sides and know it all happens for a reason even if we can't see it yet
Im not to sure, ive lost mostly all contact with my family since ive moved over her. I went from having a great suport system to no one. My best friends are my kids. I get on here just to talk to women lol. I lived in fort worth and everyone forgot about me.

Im sorry, we has a history of military in our background to. My cousin was very lucky he had strapnalall in his body. He was in iraq and was flown to washington to get better medical care. He still has a couple of peaces that they couldnt remove. Hes a officer now. My brother in law served three times in iraq as well. And also suffers from ptsd. He was in combat three times as a sargent. He has ton of awards, but alot that hes not proud of if you no what I mean. I got 4 boys and two girls. So far dont know what this one is. Bith grandfathers are also veterans korea, and vietnam.

Hubby is stationed there but we live off post in copperas cove!! He has hit over 7 ieds has been to Iraq 3 times and Is being medically retired. He is done in April Va benefits and all. He has ptsd tbi and multiple injuries. He was medavacted, medically evacuated, in October of 2011.

Aww I know how u feel I have no friends either I live in plano tx. If you ever need a buddy im here too! I got 4 boys I know how difficult it can be:) my cousin was stationed at fort hood after getting to close to a I.e.d his name is tony mata. Is that were you are?
I'm glad I'm not line them (snotty) but I would really like to have a few friends. I moved here 8 yrs ago and still haven't ment anyone to go out w. Back home, philly, I have a group of girls that I've know since Jr high. They come to Texas as often as possible and I go there but when its Saturday night the hubby took the kids so I can have 'me' time and I am crying cause I have no one to talk to and no interests. Wow I need a hobby! Used to do ceramics maybe I can get back into that. I really need to find me again
He sweetie. It happens to me too. You're not alone. From what I read you seem like an honest good hearted women. There's a time where you need to mentally say f them. m better than that. I suck not having close friends but thaysalright. You have one here if you want me. My son to is in sports and imnot lilethe other women in town.. thank god.
