in soooo much tooth pain

Is there any home remedies at all (please y'all I'm willing to try anything) to help my tooth pain? I don't have dental insurance and am on leave from work bcuz I'm high risk with my health. My tooth hurts soooo flipping bad I sit up straight at night holding my face still in dead sleep (ever since I got pregnant I suffer from insomnia).

I have really bad teeth toooso I know ur pain. I dont hate the dentist though, but I have other fears ao I get that anxiety it can cause. Go get it done. Take someone with u who wont let u back out if u have to. Just get the sucker pulled if possible, its quicker than whatever repairs they'd do. But should they recon ur tooth is viable, get it fixed and then buy some Tooth mousse. Its a fluoride and calcium paste, that u rub over your teeth at night- or preferably put in ur night time mouth guard. Just tastes like tooth paste, costs a bit, but saves me in the long run on root canals- I think I have 6 now in total. But, even with my crappy teeth genes, using this stuff even twice a week makes a difference. U know how occasionally your teeth will hurt, use this and a sensitive tooth paste- absolutely magic. Anyways good luck with the dentist. Baby's needs before urs, which includes taking care of the infection.

I dealt with this at 24wks. I had a chipped broken tooth that either needed a root canal or to be pulled. Awful pain tooth aches that woke me up... I also suffer from massive anxiety- especially when it comes to the dentist. Ultimately I hate to say it like this but you've gotta suck ir up & do it for the baby. The pain you're experiencing with the infection and tooth ache is a lot worse than getting it taken care of. You should try to find a walk in dental clinic & express your concerns to them about your anxiety. Also, talk to your ob. Mine gave me a low dose of hydrocodone to help with pain & took the edge off. I Def recommend getting this done in the second trimester!  Good luck you can do it if I did. I'm a total baby when it comes to the dentist. I literally went in & left 5 different times before actually following through & getting it pulled. Infection is no good for you or your baby during pregnancy, trust me!! I know. Best of luck.

A bad infection could be worse for your baby and will end up costing you more in the end.  I  let an infected tooth go for a long time and then the infection spread to my other teeth and my sinus. I had fevers all the time and it really affected my ability to do well in school and work. They ended up having to pull the tooth because it was then too expensive for me to fix. That all being said, clove oil works great.  Gargling salt water helps kill bacteria in the area and will help swelling around your tooth go down. And icing your face where the tooth is might help. I'm sorry you're going through this! I think tooth pain is worse than pregnancy and I'm having twins!

Yes but I'm scared. I have real bad panic attacks especially with dentists and have passed out b4 bcuz there so bad so I'm scared it'll do damage to the baby.

There are lots of things though each person is different. For me I do a cold water swish. I have an abscessed tooth where the root is in my sinus and they haven't been able to get me in to get it pulled.  Clove oil is said to help numb things too. Depends on which works for you. Have you looked into a clinic for your teeth?
