hot flashes?

I've been experiencing hot flashes almost 2 weeks now. They keep coming and going day and night. It doesn't matter if I'm sitting in AC I still get them and it's notjust ffeeling hot but it's also sweating. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hopefully time goes by quickly for all of us. They didn't think I was going to make it to due date but it's looking as if my body isn't going to be able to go into active labor on it's own and you can't choose to be induced before due date here. Doctor is hoping I can manage to go into active labor soon but if not I just have to suffer through next 2 weeks. Hot flashes in hot temperatures really do suck though lol.

It's 64 degrees in my house and I still get them. I'm hot all the time!

The hot flashes suck even more when you can't have a fan on! It's not good for the baby and can make them more congested. We've had many HOT nights since we've been home from the hospital. We keep the a/c at 68 and that still didn't help.

Lol,well good thing is you have 2 weeks left. I still got 6 weeks left to go! Its killing me. My back hurts so bad and i also get really bad heartburn. I wake up like 3 to 4 times everynight to go to the bathroom. My doc says i probably wont make it to the 40 weeks but we shall see what happens.

Ugh I didn't get them with my girls. It's crazy how different this pregnancy is. I've been drinking so much Gatorade and water loaded with ice that I practically live in the bathroom. I was thinking it was hormones but wasn't sure being never got them with my girls and I was pregnant with them in the summer. Well glad I only have 2 more weeks because my kids, dad, and my husband are all tired of freezing in the house lol.

I know exactly how you feel. It is soo uncomfortable to sleep like that. I have them every night and i have my air set on 68 plus the fan running at night. Im usually a very cold person but with this baby i have been hot so much. And to make things worse my husband throws another blanket on me like im freezing lol. I wake up and throw all of them back on him

It's your hormones! Unfortunately, it will get worse right after you have the baby. I had the air blasting in my hospital room and I was still so hot/sweaty. My poor husband was freezing and we had to keep the baby bundled when she was in the room. It will get better, though. My little girl is 8 days old and I'm not getting the hot flashes any more.
