Yes, this is actually something I've always had and it started up again when I got pregnant. I've been starting to eat a banana in the morning and one in evening for the magnesium (read about it on an online forum) and taking very natural prenatal vitamins with no additives. Seems to help. I have celiac and it has caused me to have RLS in the past when I was not careful enough about not eating gluten, which leads me to believe it must be due to some type of deficiency. Sometimes just getting up and walking around for a bit helps too. Congrats and hope this helps!
This is my 1st pregnancy and some nights when I sit too much I do have restless legs, I lay a heating pad on my legs and it tends to help me enough to fall asleep.
I have often had uncomfortable 'buzzing' in my legs... Not sure exactly if it's restless leg syndrome or not but I now sleep on an 'earthing' or 'grounding' sheet which seems to have taken it away after a few weeks?! Maybe something to look into if it gets worse...
Thank you ladies! Walking does help and I'm going to try bananas too! My Dr is going to check my iron my next appointment because she said low iron can cause this too
