serious question

Ok before y'all say call my doc... I know I know.. but I see her Monday and I'll go in tomorrow if I have to.

Anyway I've been having what feel like minor contractions all day today. I'm 31weeks now. High risk due to being diabetic type 1not gestational. Haven't had any major complications or anything like that. Well today I ended up saving a horse from certain death by being all tangled in a fence. I didn't do much but just try and keep her calm while help arrived. No harm was inflicted to me. I own horses I know what they can do in pain or fright. Anyway my daughter hadn't moved for a good three hours after maybe more then she was active like always. I feel like I was having minor contractions. Stomach tightened and got hard some times painful lasted for over 30 seconds each time. Not the usually Braxton hicks I've had. Well a little bit ago I had cramps like I would on a light period. Not extremely painful where I'm incapacitated but definitely did hurt some. To me they feel like minor contractions. Any opinions or advice?

Yeah I ended up drinking juice earlier because my sugar was low and it took a while before she moved but she's moving all over now haha. Yeah I'm doing my best to just stay calm and relax which has been pretty easy. I know everybody's different and all that but there's no reason to get all worked up and panicked. It just makes it worse

Id say youre doing all the right things. It is safe to take tylenol and that might help with the cramping. I take benadryl at night to help me sleep so just take it easy no need to panic

Also another way to get her to wiggle for you is to drink or eat something cold, drink orange juice. I always chew on ice when I'm making sure he's okay and then he ends up with the hiccups. Lol

Alright. Thanks :) I figured as much and I'm definitely going to keep a record of them until Monday and let them know what's going on. But she's usually a very active baby. I know some days they slow down so it could just be one of those days or it could have been the adrenaline rush from the events that took place. But I will keep an eye on them and if I have to I'll go in

I had to go in a few times bc of Contractions. My dr said to drink water snd if that didn't work to lay down and relax my body might be on overload. But yes i agree deff time them. If they get worst it won't hurt to go in and make sure Everything's okay. Hope you feel better! :)

Its normal for movement to slow down since your baby is getting much bigger. It sounds like you are having minor contractions. Try and time them and if they get stronger or closer together then call but id say try to keep calm and just kick back. Contractions are pretty common at this point and if they are sporadic just try to relax through them and bring all this up at your appointment.

I've been chugging water like crazy today... hasn't helped at all. I'm just curious. I'm definitely asking my doc Monday but thought maybe somebody could give me insight seeing as how I'm a ftm and all that

Maybe you are slightly dehydrated? I've been getting Contractions here and there and I end up chugging 4 glasses of water and it goes away. For some odd reason I get dehydrated very easily.
