Raeleigh's labor and delivery story! ♥

Well I was admited wed (40 weeks exactly) at 3pm to start cervidil to try and dilate me to a 3 so I could have water broken and start pitocin... well when I was checked Thursday morning there was absolutely no change.  So I then I had the option to go home for a couple days and see if I had a late reaction to cervidil or I could make an executive decision and have her taken by csection.. seeing as her weight was estimated at 8.6lbs at 37 weeks, and dr said she was veryyyyy healthy, I choose to get my baby outta there!! So at 630 am they said the operating room had an opening for 730!! So I was cleaned up, hubby was put in scrubs, I recieved a spinal block (uncomfortable but totally awesome.. couldnt feel or move at all but got feeling back within hour or two of surgery) and then nurse put in a catheter (which i didnt feel at all do to spinal!)  At 818am Thursday morning (5.1.14) my angel was born. She is absolutely PERFECT. I am actually recovering great from csection! Nurses are all surprised by the small amount of pain meds I feel necessary to take.  My princess is asleep with me right now and I cant stop smiling!!!!! Hope all you ladies have an AWESOME labor and delivery!  Good luck ladies!!
