Omg changing the litter is NOT that bad... as long as you do all the precautions... but you have other kids and they are just fine.... PLUS... your ready to deliver any day now... so if your baby would have gotten birth defects you would know by now... just keep doing what your doing Treksy... it'll all be fine... this isn't your first rodeo :)
Uh oh Treksy... sounds like your nesting... maybe you will be in labor by the morning. .. at least im hoping so!!! I told you to take it out on the kitchen... not the whole house!!! Lol
I was trying to say that changing the litter was bad this whole time
But I think u will be fine
U sound exactly like u live my life to the T I do everything myself to I wait around for my SO to do it it will never get done he will do stuff but in his own time not when I want or need it done n I have changed a litter box with all my 4 pregnancies including this one I'm just very
Careful n have my older kids to it most of the time now but they were n still r all healthy I've also painted n u was about to caulk my tub too but did stop myself BC I read that it should be ventilated n my bathroom window doesn't open
And dannyzgirl did you really go and turn another girls post into my situation? Omg..
Omg that's what I was trying to say and sorry if I offend u I meant maybe therapy between the 2 of u like u sit down and tell him what u think that type of talk
That was my hope,so far its been fruitless lol
You can change the litter box if you have a cat who stays indoors. Hey maybe if you do all this work labor will start sooner haha
Right... well, Meagan, what have we learned about airing our dirty laundry? -_-
Dannyzgirl before you go tellong people to get therapy do some research on topic at hand!
Pregnant women need to be aware that toxoplasmosis(TOX-so-plaz-MO-sis) can cause problems with pregnancy, including abortion. Toxoplasmosis is an infection caused by a parasite called Toxoplasma gondii. This parasite is carried by cats and is passed in their feces (stool). However, people are more likely to get toxoplasmosis from eating undercooked meat or gardening than from contact with pet cats. By following simple safety tips, pregnant women can reduce the risk of getting toxoplasmosis from cats.
If you own a cat, have a non-pregnant person change the litter box every day. If there is no one else to change the litter box, wear gloves and wash hands with soap and running water after changing the litter.Risk may be reduced if the litter box is changed every day.Keep cats indoors.Avoid adopting or handling stray cats.Feed cats only canned or dried commercial cat food, never undercooked or raw meat.Do not bring a new cat into your house that might have been an outdoor cat or might have been fed raw meat.
Youre also not supposed to smoke, be around smoke, drink caffeine...and a plethra of other things but women have done it for centuries...i understand the warning but sometimes you have to do what you have to do
When ur pregnant your not supposed to empty smell or be any were near the litter box it say it on the bag if ur pregnant there is a chemical in this bag and in the cats urine that can cause birth defects so it's not just about eating it. And I meant to therapy as a joke but they do need to sit down and talk about it as a married couple for sure
What i said was they should sit down and talk about it as a married couple shead a few tears and tell him how stressed and upset u r
Yeah dannyz id suggest you calm down to say they need therapy cuz she empties the litter box is crazy lol its 2014...as long as shes not eating the damn litter shell be fine...
I would dare judge your husband off of this post, it isn't nice. Just let him know how you felt about him not emptying the litter box and the importance of you not doing it. The other stuff I would just love to do myself...I'm a hands on gal.
Me he feels tour job is to stay knocked up and clean the house and cook I guess u can say your typical house wife I don't my husband I'm not doing that **** when we got married
Sounds like u guys need therapy or u really need to sit down and talk with him point blank. Ur at risk and he should understand
I read on another app that gives you little everyday nuggets, that yes smaller rodents (mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters etc) also can carry the same toxin in their waste. Glad I knew that this time around because my daughter had a guinea pig (he just died over the weekend). So I had hubby help her clean the cage every week instead of me. Idk about ferrets though.
Right its one of those situations where its like if I dont do it,it doesnt get done! I have 2 kids already and it kills me to have them live in a filthy house!
What about guiena pigs and ferrets?
The cat litter box is bad point blank u shouldn't even smell it or be near it there is a poison in the urine even if it is one time
