new bra or wait.

So my boobs have gotten bigger and I no longer fit in my current bra right.  Should I just pick up a bigger bra or look at nursing bra already.  Mind you I'm in my first trimester.

I had to buy a new bra around 14 wweeks because I had grown so much. Now at 25 weeks I've outgrown my new one and I'm thinking I'm about the size I was when I was bf my second :/ I just bought a nursing bra because the store I found it at is the only store I have found that carries my size (abnormally large on a petite build) and all they sell is nursing bras. Even motherhood maternity didn't carry the size I needed!

Ya I haven't gained much but I'm also pregnant with twins so I know I will. But I hadn't thought about changing my cup size to fit my ribs good idea.

Good thinking! I would recommend 38DD. The cup will be bigger than your current DD, and it give your ribs room to grow during the rest of the pregnancy. I went from a 36D to a 40D...and I have only gained 15 lbs (31 weeks now)

Thanks for all the info. My worry is I will get much bigger before pregnancy I was a 36 DD. Now I'm spilling out of those and I'm still in my first trimester.  But u didn't know they had maternity ones that were not nursing.  I will look and see if we have a Thyme Maternity by us.

I work at Thyme Maternity, and do professional bra fittings. We sell maternity bras that are not nursing bras. If is not recommended to buy nursing bras until 36 weeks, as this is the largest your rib cage will expand during pregnancy. When you purchase, make sure it fits on the loosest setting, because your rib cage with shrink within 3 weeks after birth, and you will need to be able to tighten it back up. Get someone to measure and do a professional fitting for best results. Don't be shy, let her in the fitting room when you have the bra on so she can check to make sure it is the perfect fit for you.
In the meantime, maternity bras are amazing and very comfortable! Good luck!

I went through multiple bras, felt like I was growing out of them every month. I started out a 38C NOW I'm in a 44DD.  I'll be 32 weeks Monday and I'm about to purchase a few nursing bras and I pray that my breasts are done inflating.

I had to pick one up at 10 weeks when I couldn't bear it any longer.  I have literally grown one to two cup sizes per pregnancy.  I'm on my third baby lol go ahead pick one up.  Motherhood had a great selection.

I needed bigger ones and bought nursing bras.
I figured if I needed new ones, I should buy ones that might still fit when I start nursing.
Does that make sense?
