I traveled a few times on 20 hour trips when my son was little. The first time he was 3 months and I had other people driving so I could sit in the back and just take care of the baby.. I could feed him his bottle in his carseat and I mean most of the time to burp him I'd just have to push him forward a little to get my hand on his back so we didn't have to always stop! He was good with those long trips up until probably 2 years old lol now he can't stand being in the car for too long and we have to stay at hotels if we travel lol
Personally i think it'd be a pain in the butt. My lo fed atleast every 2hourly and sometimes more often, then burping and bum changes... you'll spend more time on the side of the road doing all those things rather than driving. And driving that long is tiring!!
Yea this is a good age for sure. We took a 8 hr trip when my first was 6 months which is when they start getting really active and my husband and I both agreed to never do that for a long time! Lol
That is a great age to travel at. When they are that little they don't mind long rides. When they get a bit older it gets way harder as they get bored etc
Newborn age is the best age to travel by car for sure because they sleep a lot of the time! You do of course have to stop to feed them. I would do what you think would be easiest for you though.
