That's strange you can hear the screaming through the hospital walls. I couldn't hear the woman screaming next door but my family could when they walked in the hallway. I think if I did I would have been scared crapless! I do remember getting the epi and the docs talking about a woman screaming across the hall because she needed one and was next in line. I'm glad I was ahead of her. I learned in class that screaming is what some woman do for comfort and not to be afraid. I'm not a screamer as well but I did cry and whimper when they induced me by sticking the balloon up there. It sucked! Lol
That reminds me when I was on bed rest at the hospital for a while month.. I'd hear a different woman yell every night. Sometimes even two...I'm not a screamer
Thanks so much. Shes hollering bloody murder!!! Im trying not to let it get to me but geez. I can't help but cringe everytime she screams. I want to yell out for someone to help her.
Lol, I was like that too! I was in preterm labour trying to concentrate on breathing and relaxing so that o didn't anticipate every contraction before they gave me the meds and the lady across the hall was screaming like she was being stabbed. My dr and the attending midwife assured me its not like that for everyone and even if you feel like that's what you want to do they've seen it all before. Good luck to you and baby!
