Sciaticia relief options

I am 26 weeks now and for a few months i have been dealing with sciatica pain.  I was doing pretty good with stretching and it seemed to relieve the pain for a few days. I am at a point now where the stretching isnt doing much more than relieving the pain for 30 minutes to an hour.  I have a pretty high pain tolerance but the pain seems to be causing issues with walking.  I am thinking about seeking treatment but wondering if people see chiropractors or massage therapist for sciatica pain.  I do not have extended benefits so i will be out of pocket the money which is why i wont be able to do both!  Fyi i wont take drugs as an option.   I appreciate any opinions!

Thanks everyone!  I will look into going to the chiropractor.  I couldn't commit to 2 times a week though!  I also have a gift certificare for a massage which i am thinking i could use right about now!   Just want to lessen the pain some.  I walk loke a 90 year old!

I see a chiropractor that specializes in pregnancy and she is amazing. I highly recommend it. I swear seeing her a couple times a week is the only reason I can still walk. My body is not tolerating this pregnancy well at all

I don't think i have sciatica, but i have been having some significant back pain... I just went and had a maternity massage done and it was amazing. Now I'm going to take an amazing nap.

Yes they do say that going to a chiropractor during pregnancy can help with back pain and sciatica relief, just make sure it's one who can work on pregnant women

My father dated a chiropractor for years so i would go to her and feel comfortable doing so i just wasnt sure if a chiropractor Would be able to help for this type of pain! She might even give me a discount!  The pain is deep in my butt so i would be a little embarrassed to get a massage!

A chiropractor could possibly be an option. They may be able to adjust you to help relieve the pain. I had it with my last pregnancy but never thought to go to a chiropractor. It could be an option to find one comfortable working with a pregnant woman. Maybe even just a consult or find one with a promotion. That way you can see if it works out without coming too much out of pocket?
