So many diapers

So my work threw me a diaper party and now I have the great question of, do I need more? I have about 150 newborn, over 1000 size 1, and at least 350 size 2. I haven't even had my actual baby shower yet! Should I tell everyone I'm inviting that if they want to get diapers, to get me size 2 and 3? Is that tacky? I just don't want to waste there awesome help.

Get what u get what u don't use u can exchange!  And then get gift cards or whatever ur baby will need! I had a gift card baby shower and the hubby had a diaper party!  Now I have everything I'll need! And my first daughter never used nb size so I went and exchanged it when I ran out of whatever size I needed!

Exchanging diapers is fine...especially for sizes. The store will tell u once they scan the barcode if it's their product in order for them to take it.

Wal-Mart will exchange without receipts. But take all you don't use at one time because you can only do it so many times with out receipts. Or wait till baby shower and that way you can exchange things you don't need or get two of.

Omg that is awesome you got so many diapers and all.  I agree with rosalie 23 though. You might want to ask for gift cards instead on your baby shower . remember baby might have an allergy for a certain brand of diapers also. You won't sounds rude at all and as for what you have now you can always try and exchange in stores and most like Walmart will probably do and just give you a gift card instead. Good luck

Can I exchange the diapers anywhere? I don't have any receipts and was not sure how stores handle that. If it doesn't sound rude to request larger sizes, then I'll add that on my invites as a note. I didn't want to sound pushy lol. :)

You may not need that many newborn and redoubt you will need that many size 1. Newborn diapers are used for a week maybe two until cord falls off. Then until about 3 months old you move up a size each month usually not always after that diaper growth slows down a bit. But this sizing depends on how big baby is at birth and how fast or slow baby puts on weight. Don't open all packs and if you have too many you should be able to exchange for a different size. You should probably ask for bigger sizes for your baby shower because people will probably want to bring diapers.

Lots of moms never use the newborn size but you should be able to exchange them for a bigger size. Asking for certain sizes is totally fine! That's what I'll be doing!
